Rooftop Tour ‘08 Update

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:05 pm

We finished up our first of 2 rooftop Brooklyn shows this past Thursday with a triumpant, fireworks-laden and neon-light-snaky-thing ensconced set of tunes from our new LP. Many thanks to Stacy Grossfield & Christine Shallenberg for a delightful evening of two dances with an exquisite light installation. (My words, not theirs. I swear.)

Next up is a humble appearance at the Grand Opening of the Long Island City Museum of Natural History this Saturday night!

See you there!!!

The Mountains Are Our People

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:16 am

Greetings, folks, and welcome to the newly minted 32 Birds Records website. The business we’re in right now is to tell you everything you need to know about Slow/Dynamite and the upcoming release of their debut 2xLP “The Mountains Are Our People.” We (no, wait: they) recorded it at the rehearsal studio this past winter 2008 with Jason Sebastian at the controls. Freshly mastered, it’s due back in our hands in time for the May 16th record release party at Tommy’s Tavern in Greenpoint. The first pressing is a limited run of 150, so the safest thing to do is to drop by our pre-order page and reserve your copy on double lp vinyl (recommended) or CD (whatever.)
